Important note: The video shows the integration of HubSpot with SAP C4C. Of course, connecting to Shopware with CAS SmartWe and many other systems is also possible.

Shopware is a German e-commerce platform for B2B and B2C with flexible architecture and strong focus on the DACH market. CAS SmartWe is a cloud-based CRM system with affordable cost-per-user, developed for small and medium-sized enterprises.
The Shopware CAS SmartWe Integration seamlessly connects your online shop with your CRM. Shop customers, orders, and cart abandonments flow automatically into the CRM. Your sales team immediately sees who’s buying, what interests them, and where follow-up potential lies. No more Excel lists, no duplicate entries, no missed sales opportunities.
The connection between Shopware and CAS SmartWe opens doors that were previously closed. Here are six concrete scenarios where the integration creates real value.
Automatically transfer shop customers to the CRM. As soon as someone registers in your Shopware shop or completes an order, the contact is created or updated in CAS SmartWe. Your sales team works with current data without manual import. Customer groups from Shopware can be directly transferred to SmartWe.
Make order history available in the CRM. Every order from Shopware is recorded as an activity or sales opportunity in CAS SmartWe. Your team sees at a glance what a customer bought and when. This makes upselling and cross-selling plannable instead of random.
Follow up targeted with cart abandoners. Abandoned carts are created as leads or tasks in SmartWe. Your sales or customer success team can follow up specifically, clarify questions, or make offers. Potential drop-offs become concrete sales opportunities.
Use product interests for personalized marketing. Which products has a customer viewed, added to cart, or purchased? This information flows into the CRM. You can segment customers by product interest and address them with relevant offers instead of treating everyone the same.
Synchronize newsletter opt-ins GDPR-compliant. The consent status from Shopware is synchronized with CAS SmartWe. You always know who has permitted which communication. No more legal gray areas, no accidental violations.
Synchronize customer database bidirectionally. Changes to customer data in SmartWe can flow back into Shopware. Address changes, new phone numbers, or company data are kept current in both systems. One customer view for e-commerce and sales.
The use cases on this page are not theoretical, but implementing them requires experience. You can set up integration and data management yourself through MARINI’s no-code interface, or have our team configure it for you. For implementation in your systems, we work collaboratively with you and your service providers. If you don’t yet have a suitable service provider, we’re happy to recommend an appropriate partner from our network.

For: C-Level, Management, Business Development
Data silos cost revenue. When shop and CRM don’t communicate, your team works with gut feeling instead of facts. The integration creates a 360-degree customer view. You see which customers are profitable, where potential lies, and which campaigns actually work. This isn’t a gimmick, it’s a data-driven decision foundation.
Manual processes slow growth. Every hour your team spends on copy-paste between systems is missing for strategic work. The integration automates routine and gives your team time for things that really count. Faster growth with constant personnel costs? Exactly that.
Your competitors are already automating. If you’re still working manually while others have long since integrated their processes, you’re losing not only time but also market share. The Shopware CAS SmartWe integration isn’t a nice-to-have, but a prerequisite for scalable growth in e-commerce.
For: Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Operations
Sales finally sees who’s ready to buy right now. Instead of cold-calling lists, you see in SmartWe who just registered in the shop, viewed products, or ordered. You can follow up at the perfect time with relevant information. Cold acquisition becomes warm outreach.
Marketing can segment precisely. You want to address customers who bought product X but not yet product Y? The integration makes such segments possible. You can build campaigns based on real shop data instead of assumptions. Higher relevance, better conversion.
Customer Success recognizes churn risks earlier. When a regular customer suddenly stops ordering, you see it in SmartWe. You can proactively inquire before the customer switches to competitors. Retention becomes measurable and controllable.
Operations has less manual follow-up work. No more Excel lists you need to sync between systems. No duplicates because a customer was created once in the shop and once in the CRM. The interface ensures consistency without your intervention.
For: IT, Development, System Architects, Admins
Shopware 6 API meets SmartWe REST API. The integration uses the Admin API and Store API of Shopware 6 as well as the REST API of CAS SmartWe. Both systems are cloud-based, making the connection technically straightforward. OAuth 2.0 ensures secure authentication. Webhooks enable event-based real-time synchronization.
Bidirectional synchronization with flexible mapping. You can freely define which objects flow in which direction. Customers and orders from Shopware to SmartWe? Check. Updated customer data from SmartWe back to Shopware? Also possible. Field rules and validation prevent inconsistent data from passing through.
Conflict resolution for competing changes. When a customer is changed simultaneously in the shop and CRM, you need clear rules. The integration allows you to define leading systems per field. You decide which system wins in conflicts, or get notified in critical cases.
Monitoring and error handling. Logs show you exactly which data was synchronized when. Alerts inform you of errors or anomalies. You maintain control without constantly checking the system. GDPR and revDSG-compliant processing in EU data centers is standard.
Business-critical data deserves maximum reliability. At MARINI, security isn’t an add-on—it’s our lived standard. Our security architecture at a glance:
This keeps your central data infrastructure stable, protected, and scalable at all times. Together, we’ll find the right integration and tailor it precisely to your requirements.
Typically, customers, orders, carts, and product interests are transferred from Shopware to the CRM. In the other direction, updated customer data such as addresses or company affiliations often flow. You can freely define which objects and fields are synchronized. Custom objects in Shopware are also supported.
Yes, MARINI supports both Shopware 5 and Shopware 6. Shopware 5 has been end of life since July 2024 but is still connected by MARINI. The architecture and APIs differ fundamentally between versions. For Shopware 6, all endpoints are available; for version 5, technical limitations of the outdated API apply.
Yes, this is possible and a common scenario. Many companies operate a B2C and a B2B instance of Shopware. MARINI can connect both shops to one central SmartWe CRM. Data is cleanly merged and orchestrated so you get a consolidated customer view.
The integration works in real-time. Webhooks from Shopware trigger immediate updates in SmartWe. Typical latency is in the seconds range. You can also set up scheduled synchronizations, for example at night for large data volumes. For time-critical processes like cart abandonments or new orders, real-time is recommended.
During onboarding, historical data from Shopware can be initially imported into SmartWe. MARINI offers duplicate detection and matching rules to prevent existing contacts from being created twice. You can define in advance which data is transferred and which is not. A test run before going live is standard.
Yes, MARINI is GDPR and revDSG-compliant. All data is processed exclusively in EU data centers that are ISO 27001-certified. You retain full control over your data. Consent status from Shopware can be synchronized to ensure legally compliant communication. Deletion requests can be implemented across systems.
With MARINI, we use a reliable interface between our existing ERP system and HubSpot. The data exchange works seamlessly and delivers tangible added value in our day-to-day operations. We are particularly impressed by the platform’s clear structure as well as the direct and straightforward communication with the support team.

The integration of our marketing automation (Evalanche) and Salesforce via MARINI takes our data quality to a new level and provides the basis for successful account-based marketing.
