How do you automatically distribute leads from your ERP to sales partners?

Odoo is your central business suite: CRM, ERP, e-commerce, and accounting in one platform. Over 12 million users worldwide rely on this modular open-source solution to manage customer relationships, handle orders, and digitize business processes. Leadtributor is the specialized lead management software for manufacturers with partner sales networks: it automatically distributes customer inquiries to sales partners, dealers, or sales representatives, tracks their feedback, and ensures no lead gets lost.

The Odoo Leadtributor integration connects your central ERP world with intelligent partner routing. Leads, contacts, and opportunities from Odoo are automatically synchronized to Leadtributor, distributed based on region, radius, or competencies, and monitored with escalation management. Feedback flows back to Odoo, giving you as a manufacturer full transparency over partner business. No more black box, no more lost inquiries.

Which processes benefit from the integration?

When Odoo and Leadtributor work together, end-to-end workflows emerge from inquiry to order. Here are the most important scenarios:

Route leads from Odoo CRM automatically. Customer inquiries created as leads in Odoo CRM flow directly to Leadtributor and are automatically assigned to the appropriate sales partner. By region, postal code, radius, or competencies. No more manual sorting, no more Excel lists.

Synchronize contacts and partner assignments. Odoo stores customers and suppliers in res.partner, Leadtributor assigns them to sales territories. Bidirectional synchronization ensures both systems know who’s servicing which customer. The customer view stays consistent, even when external partners are involved.

Align opportunities and feedback status. When a sales partner provides an update in Leadtributor or marks a lead as won, this flows back to Odoo as a CRM status update. Your sales team sees immediately who’s doing what, without switching systems.

Create sales orders from successful leads. As soon as a partner reports a lead as an order in Leadtributor, a sales order is automatically created in Odoo. Partner assignment is preserved, commissions can be calculated correctly. True quote-to-cash across partner boundaries becomes reality.

Play escalation feedback back into CRM. When a partner doesn’t process a lead within 24 hours, Leadtributor escalates automatically: the lead is forwarded to the next partner. Odoo sees this as a timeline update, so your inside sales team always maintains oversight.

Synchronize product master and competencies. Which sales partners are allowed to sell which products? Odoo manages the product master, Leadtributor handles partner competencies. The integration ensures only suitable partners are contacted for specific products or industries.

From Integration to Results

The use cases on this page are not theoretical, but implementing them requires experience. You can set up integration and data management yourself through MARINI’s no-code interface, or have our team configure it for you. For implementation in your systems, we work collaboratively with you and your service providers. If you don’t yet have a suitable service provider, we’re happy to recommend an appropriate partner from our network.

What does the integration bring to management?

For: C-level, management, business development

Partner sales scales without losing control. Many manufacturers grow through partners but don’t know what happens to leads after handoff. The integration closes this black box: you see in Odoo which partner is working on which lead, how long it takes, and what conversion rate is achieved. Data-driven decisions instead of gut feeling.

Time-to-response drops, conversion rate rises. 50 percent of sales go to the provider who responds first. With automatic routing and escalation management via Leadtributor, your partners respond within hours instead of days. That directly impacts your close rate.

Less overhead, more focus on strategic partners. No more Excel lists, no manual distribution of inquiries. Your inside sales team concentrates on strategic tasks: partner development, campaign planning, performance analysis. The integration handles the operational distribution work.

What do departments gain in daily operations?

For: Marketing, sales, customer success, operations

Inside sales maintains control. Previously, there was radio silence after lead handoff to partners. Now you see in Odoo in real time: Which partner accepted the lead? When was first contact made? What’s the current status? You can proactively follow up when a partner doesn’t respond, maintaining customer satisfaction.

Marketing finally knows what happens to leads. Marketing generates leads through campaigns, trade shows, webinars. These land in Odoo and are distributed to partners from there. When Leadtributor plays back feedback status, marketing can see: Which campaign brought leads with high conversion? Which partners convert best? This closes the loop between marketing and sales.

Customer success gets an early warning system. A lead was escalated three times because no partner responded? Customer success should know this before the end customer churns in frustration. The integration makes such cases visible in Odoo, allowing proactive intervention.

Operations manages sales territories dynamically. Which partners are overloaded? Which have free capacity? Leadtributor distributes leads based on availability and performance. Operations sees the KPIs in Odoo and can adjust sales territories or partner attributes to optimize utilization.

What does it look like technically?

For: IT, development, system architects, admins

Bidirectional synchronization via API. Odoo offers XML-RPC and JSON-RPC APIs, Leadtributor provides a REST API. MARINI connects both via HubEngine: leads, contacts (res.partner), and opportunities flow from Odoo to Leadtributor, status updates and feedback flow back. Real-time or scheduled, depending on your setup.

Mapping res.partner to Leadtributor partners. In Odoo, res.partner is the central object for customers, suppliers, and contacts. Leadtributor distinguishes between end customers (leads) and sales partners. MARINI handles the mapping via flags (is_company, customer_rank, supplier_rank) and ensures end customers are synchronized as leads and sales partners as partners.

Conflict handling for duplicate leads. What happens when a lead already exists in both Odoo and Leadtributor? MARINI checks unique identifiers (email, company name) and matches records before synchronization. You can define rules: Odoo leading, Leadtributor leading, or merge by timestamp.

Webhook-based real-time updates. As soon as a partner provides feedback in Leadtributor, an event is sent to MARINI via webhook. Within seconds, the status is updated in Odoo. No polling logic, no delay. This reduces API calls and keeps data fresh.

Maximum Security and Stability

Business-critical data deserves maximum reliability. At MARINI, security isn’t an add-on—it’s our lived standard. Our security architecture at a glance:

  • GDPR-compliant and legally secured (including Swiss revDPA)
  • ISO 27001-certified data centers
  • Multiple daily backups across multiple locations
  • Incident response and recovery plans
  • Continuous monitoring and personal tech support

This keeps your central data infrastructure stable, protected, and scalable at all times. Together, we’ll find the right integration and tailor it precisely to your requirements.

Frequently asked questions about Odoo Leadtributor integration

Typically, MARINI synchronizes leads (crm.lead), contacts (res.partner), opportunities, and sales orders from Odoo to Leadtributor. Status updates, feedback values, partner assignments, and conversion data flow back. You can also connect custom models from Odoo if you have specific requirements.

Odoo is typically leading for customer master data, product master, and opportunities. Leadtributor leads for lead routing, partner assignment, escalation management, and partner KPIs. In case of conflicts, you can define rules in MARINI for which system takes precedence. In practice, both systems have their leading domain.

Yes, MARINI supports both Odoo Community and Enterprise Edition. The prerequisite is that the API (XML-RPC or JSON-RPC) is available and accessible. On-premise Odoo installations can also be connected, not just cloud instances.

Transfer occurs in real time via webhooks or at configurable intervals (e.g., every 5 minutes). Leadtributor offers an open API with webhook support, allowing MARINI to route new leads immediately. You decide whether you prefer real-time or batch synchronization.

Leadtributor escalates the lead automatically: after a defined time (e.g., 24 hours), it’s forwarded to the next partner. This escalation event is synchronized by MARINI to Odoo and made visible in the lead record as a timeline update. Your sales team sees that the lead was forwarded and can react proactively.

Yes, product master data from Odoo (product.template, product.product) can be synchronized to Leadtributor to match partner competencies. Prices are typically not synchronized directly, as Leadtributor is not an ERP. But you can use product attributes or partner competencies to ensure only partners with expertise for specific products are contacted.

We have been working with MARINI for a long time and are very satisfied with the collaboration. We particularly appreciate their high level of flexibility, excellent communication, and fast response to our requirements.
