How does the integration work technically?

You use all Magento endpoints, not just standard objects. MARINI accesses the REST API of Magento 2 (Magento 1 is also supported). Products, Categories, Customers, Orders, Quotes, Invoices, Shipments, Custom Attributes: everything available. CAS SmartWe is connected via REST API. You decide which objects to synchronize.

You configure field mapping and transformation rules without code. Magento calls it “Customer”, SmartWe calls it “Contact”. MARINI maps the fields via drag-and-drop. You can define rules: Only synchronize customers from customer group X, only orders over Y euros, only shopping carts untouched for Z days.

You resolve conflicts and duplicates automatically. What happens when a customer exists in both systems but with different email addresses? MARINI recognizes duplicates based on flexible rules (email, customer number, external ID) and synchronizes updates bidirectionally. You determine which system takes precedence in conflicts.

You monitor all data flows in real time. MARINI shows you logs, error protocols, and sync status in a clear interface. Alerts for errors, monitoring for large data volumes, manual re-syncs at the push of a button. No black box, but full transparency.

There they are mapped as contacts, sales opportunities, or activities. MARINI also supports Custom Attributes from Magento, so you can carry over individual fields.

Yes. MARINI supports both Magento 1 and Magento 2. Magento 1 has been end of life since June 2020, but is still operated by many shops. The REST API of Magento 1 is more limited than that of Magento 2, but the most important objects (Customers, Orders, Products) can be synchronized.
