Typically, Customers, Vendors, Items, Prices, Sales Orders, and Invoices from Business Central are transferred to Inxmail. In Inxmail, these are organized as Recipients in lists, with additional attributes such as revenue, industry, or purchase frequency. Tracking data such as opens, clicks, bounces, and opt-out status flow back to the ERP. This creates a 360-degree view of each customer.
Yes. Business Central exists as a cloud version and as an on-premises version. MARINI can connect both variants. The API architecture is similar in both cases, only authentication and network configuration differ. Hybrid setups are also possible if you work partially cloud, partially on-prem.
MARINI already has an adapter for Inxmail Professional. Adapters for Inxmail Commerce and Inxmail New Xperience can be easily developed. All three products offer REST APIs that are fully integratable. Inxmail Professional is suitable for newsletters and campaigns, Commerce for transactional emails, New Xperience for the web-based editor.
MARINI works in real-time or near real-time, depending on configuration. Customer data from Business Central can be available in Inxmail within seconds. For large data volumes, an initial overnight sync is recommended, followed by delta updates only. Transactional emails via Inxmail Commerce are triggered immediately after the event in Business Central.
That depends on your process. In most cases, Business Central is authoritative for master data such as name, address, and company information. Inxmail is authoritative for marketing consent, opt-in status, and unsubscribes. MARINI allows you to define per field which system has data authority. In case of conflicts, the stored rule applies.
Inxmail is a German provider with EU-only hosting and CSA certification. MARINI also hosts exclusively in the EU, is GDPR and revDSG compliant. Opt-out requests from Inxmail are automatically marked in Business Central, so customers are not accidentally contacted via other channels. Consent status remains synchronized across all systems.
