Record Linkage Steps

To ensure a smooth Record Linkage Process certain fundamental steps must be completed. This guide shows you how to establish the foundation for successful data linking.

Create a Relationship Between Source and Target Modules

This step forms the backbone of the entire project. The main goal is to link records together. To do this, you must manually create a relationship between the two entities that will later be compared.

Important: If you do not create this relationship, you will not be able to select the target module during configuration.

Set Up Basic Workflows

These workflows are part of the trigger process and only need to be set up once. They ensure that the Record Linkage Process runs correctly.

Purpose: The workflows are necessary to create runners and store the desired configuration in the system.

Create an Inactive Configuration

Create your configuration with all the parameters and options you want to use. Carefully check that everything is set up correctly before activating the configuration. Check out how you can create a configuration here.

Activate the Configuration

Activate the configuration and monitor execution in the corresponding runner module. Only after activation will the configuration be considered in the Record Linkage Process.
