Unfortunately, it is not possible to give a general answer to this question. It depends almost 100% on your requirements. Generally speaking, we can instantiate an empty DataEngine in a few minutes. We have automated our internal processes to such an extent that this is possible.
The more modules you need, the longer it takes to set them up. It also depends on whether the DataEngine is intended to be used actively as a user interface (Enterprise Data Platform or Customer Data Platform) or only for background processing (Distributed Platform). In the former case, the views are modelled, which from experience requires some coordination.
Furthermore, testing and training as well as project management (which includes communication, coordination, etc.) also require some time. Likewise, the migration of data is often a matter that takes longer than originally expected. Migration using the HubEngine is the easiest option. CSV imports are equally possible, but require more coordination, data preparation and formatting.
Usually, the complete initial setup of the DataEngine takes only one to a few days.
