Step 1: Open Permission Groups Management
- Open your DataEngine and go to the top menu bar.
- Click on the Admin menu item.
- Then select Permission Groups Management.
Step 2: Create a New Permission Group
- Click on Create Permission Group.
- Give the new group a unique Name.
- Add a Description that explains the purpose and scope of the group.
- Inheritance: Decide whether the permission group should be inherited to other records. This is relevant if certain records should only be visible within this group.
- Click on Save.
